Wow, this is quite the roast.
I for one, have no reason Not to believe Brett.

If one of you guys tell me something I would never think of asking for proof.

I know how fast I have taken my car and have slipped it up here the odd time but since it is not any kind of a record I guess I was not challenged on it, and wouldn't care anyway.

Ha Ha it would be better if I was not believed ha ha .

I know it dose not take long for me to max her out (over 6g in high) and by that I mean there is not many Rrrrs left

Sorry I just think some of you are a little hard on Brett.
I know he dose not want to say where and when (i don't tell the cops where I test)
and to me that is understandable.

If he decides to make an official run then It will be official.

At this time I just want to take a look at the NOS kit (which I've talk'd to him about) and maybe pack a little suprise under my hood for the next new camero that try's to out run me, (he couldn't pass me)

You have obviously put as much thought and research into your philosophy, as you have into your safety equipment.

Man, you are caaaaarrazy! And I love it.

You know, I'm on the coast in California. And I'm sickened by the majority of drivers who just cannot seem to brave getting even near the 55 mile per hour limit. Let alone a brave 60 mph. I curse and swear and long for the days where one could fly along, unobstructed.

Now I wouldn't do what you did. But can you please pass some of your genetic composition on to some of these dreadfully dull drivers in my part of the world.

Have fun, but stay alive.

Hi All

Nice to see Americans still speak their minds

Whichever side of the debate they are on....

Nobody has to believe I did it because I did it for me....nobody else...

But for those disbelievers amongst you...

You say I have not published the proof, which is true, but that does not mean it does not exist as several local Porsche owners have SEEN the proof , including a couple of 928 owners.

The fact I am not prepared to publish it on the Internet is another thing entirely....

Secondly, I have 2 stickers on my car, the Top Speed record and the other one is my UK quarter mile record.

In case you dont believe that either (even though I posted the proof) please look at this Drag times link which I recently filled out as someone said they wouldnt believe it until it was on there...

http://www.dragtimes.com/Porsche-928...lip-22080.html

Which makes me the fourth fastest 928 in the world according to them (dont worry, I wont have another sticker made lol)

Anyone who thinks that one isn't true as well or that it was easy, can always run a faster quarter if they wish...

All the best Brett

However, your rationale of your highly empowered will being the sole reason for your 'accomplishment,' and the opinions of people who are more technical than me, show your feat to defy the laws of physics. Maybe you achieved this with some extrapolated metric on a dyno with strong restraints, but as the laws of physics dictate, you should have been Mary Poppins floating to your fatalist demise. Sorry...laws of physics are laws for a reason...

I'm not questioning your attitude, will or resolve, just the viability of your claims.

I don't think you're nuts for being an adrenaline junkie, I think you could be delusional for believing you could willingly 'just' break the barriers of aerodynamic and gravitational laws...

All the best Matt

I am sure his set up is totally credible, he has well documented his steps in the process and is trying to reach even further ... I love to watch this stuff in action,

Just like I love to read about Tim and Cheryl Dey in their Orr events...Apples and Oranges. Tim and Cheryl are sustaining the High mph and Brett reaches the speed. Still fun to read about it

Keep it up BRet.

Hi Matt

Umm do those laws of physics that I seem to have broken apply to the 2 American 928s (at least) that have run Top speeds FASTER than I have ??

Thats why my stickers say UK Record and not world record....unless those guys in the US are "delusional" as well ?

All the best Brett

I bet you could hit 250 mph if you drove it off a cliff.

Where do we order our stickers, and are they customizable?
Your record has just been broken Brett------
My record for the UK run is 209 mph as will be posted on my window, but because the air is thinner over here in the U.S. I can acheive 222 mph here. 12.9 in the 1/4 mile.

Everything stock except for the intake air box being packed with dry ice, bottle of NOS octane booster, and I put Rejex all over the car, allowing for my aerodynamic coefficient to become non-existant.

No witnesses, actually there was one but he had to be silenced. I know, pretty impressive!!!

Not delusional- but they have presented proof and they took realistic precautions and had cars that were fully prepared to take on the laws of physics that were present. Oh yeah- they also had witnesses...many of them...IIRC

Your evidence is lacking, your logic is circular and there's no way of proving, or disproving, your claim based on the way you have set up your argument.

So you have a sticker with a number...that and 50 cents will get you a bowl of cold soup.

Please, I implore you, prove me wrong and present evidence that cannot be refuted.

You can set up an invitation only forum- whereby you invite your non-believers to view your evidence under strict confidentiality and present to us the evidence. Until then, your claims are as valid as a 3 dollar bill here in the states.

The gauntlet has been thrown...I am awaiting your response...
