You can easily get one made. I'm sure there are auto welding shops or race prep outfits that you must know. Pay some money to have a strong and convenient one designed and built. Top speed in a coffin is about 2 mph (excluding hearse time)

Yeah, in the USA at least, there are a lot of places that will build you a full cage for under $2000. It's really just bending tubes and welding them in. If you want it perfect, powdercoated, removable, then it gets more expensive. Every so often someone on Rennlist is selling one of the Devek removable rear cages. Usually for under $1000.

Anyhow, I actually wanted to offer my support for your choice to take your own chances with your own life. People get too obsessed with other people's safety. Having ridden motorcycles, I appreciate the benefit of wearing gear, to avoid injury. But you can't control everything that happens. If some semi truck runs over you, you will be dead, no matter how much gear you have. And the same is true about crashing at 200+ MPH. You might die of internal deceleration injuries, even if you are totally unharmed on the outside. The inherent fact is that you ARE taking a risk, just by doing it. If you want to live with minimal risk, then drive a Volvo and be vary careful. Or drive around with a full helmet on every single day you drive. If you want to risk your life, and no one else is around to get hurt, then go for it. It's none of my business.

I agree completely, actually. It's his life. If he kills himself doing it, well that's his choice. I don't think that means take unnecessary risks, so in my case, I'd get a full cage built, but as long as he understands what might be coming to him, it's his life, and noone should tell him how to live it.

I may be buying one of these "Splitters" to improve my front end aero... has anyone tried them or more importantly, do people think they will improve my high speed stability ?

You need a real wing on the back- like a GT3 wing. You may have some luck scouring the trash at a big race- you can often find repairable parts someone has discarded.
Or, just buy a decent wing and make mounts yourself. Theres plenty of wing- makers over there in UK...
