As in Afshin's car for sale... Fix the A/C if you are asking top dollar!

Man, that thing sounds like an absolute screamer!

Doesn't look like this car will be selling anytime soon with that price.

Concours, really? I'd double check the meaning of that word.

Needs nothing but A/C, mileage approximate, Nitrous non original engine, braided hoses under hood, custom Jager adders.

Maybe some pictures might help, but I really doubt you’ll get much if any over $10K for it around here.

Sorry to bust your bubble.

Concours quality-not concours; and as I said, pictures coming early next week. That price is negotiable. I promise, once the pictures are up you will have a change of heart.

The car has been restored above and beyond original quality. The AC will be recharged before sale. Again-it's open to a PPI.

AC will be fixed prior to sale. The car is immaculate-the interior looks like a Paul Champagne interior.

Even 327 rwhp is a stretch with stock computers... what's the secret?

Prolly looks cool with the euro body. I wouldn't mind a '86 S2 5-speed with US S3 engine (at 1/3 the price).

So it would have a dyno sheet to back up those numbers...

Me too. I am waiting to see the paperwork (I've only seen and been a passenger in the car). Again, all documentation will be provided for inspection prior to sale. From what I understand the engine has been ported and tuned and free-flow exhaust. If I find that any specs have changed or are incorrect, I will post the updates.

He claims he has dyno charts before and after. Also claims the car ran sub 9 second quarter mile at Englishtown, NJ. Heavily modified.

I will check all docs and details in the coming days.

Thank you for looking,

Michael

LOL!!!! @ Paul!!

We are a rabid pack of dogs here, huh? Well, let's wait to hear what kind of magic is under the hood, which claims are verifiable, and which are ethereal.

A sub-9-second car is worth $19k to the right person. We probably ain't them, though...

A car that runs in the 9's (quarter-mile) takes a lot of suspension work just get big ponies to the pavement. Plus street tires are pretty much out of the question. The 928 with IRS isn't really eligible. Is the 9-second claim part of a performance guarantee? If so, I'm interested if I can get it smogged in Cali.

-----

I had a street car that would run low 10's with street tires, mufflers, etc. Just like it shows up at stoplights. Many folks would brag about their cars being quicker, but failed miserably when there was a showdown. Most would give up well before my front wheels touched down just the other side of the intersection. There was always a sob story about how it really needed a ist of X things so it wasn't quite ready. It either does it or it doesn't. Quick street cars are much more available now, with NOs systems cheap and easy. But still, getting into 9's in a nitrous 928 is a real stretch. Our former pro drag race crew chief Brett was several long expensive precious seconds slower in his built-out NOS 928 in the UK, for instance.
