I don't like to bash, but these claims don't smell right....sorry..
Maybe it is a SUB 9 sec 1/8th mile! I would buy that... Sub 9 sec 1/4th mile takes over 1000HP, REALLY good traction, and a REALLY, REALLY good driver! It would take a gear box never before put in a factory 928 because a factory box could not be shifted fast enough nor would it allow for the top speed sub 9 sec brings with it... like 180ish I think is normal trap on a sub 9 sec run...

Didn't read down far enough...Mark beat me to the 1/8th mile idea... Doh!

If its in the 9's in the 1/4..... its pulling the front end when it launches. Please post a youtube video of the 928 pulling the front end as that would be cool to see!

There is a video of that out there... it is a fully built up drag car with a big block US motor and a GIANT blower on top... pretty cool...

Don't have the video, bu there is the pic...

THIS is what a sub 9 sec 928 looks like! LOL!

As I said-I've seen it, been in it; never driven it. I have never seen the records but he said he has a binder-full of records since day 1. We'll find out what exactly he did to the engine to prep it for NOS.

Yea, that drag car would be an amazing ride wouldn't it?! WOW!

I somehow missed the 1.2G... Man, this must be the fastest most competent 928 EVER BUILT! I doubt Mark's race car on slicks does much better than 1.2G! I can't wait to see some REAL pics of this most competent and amazing 928...must be the fastest ever built and it is TOTALLY amazing that it is not only the fastest at the drag strip, but would also be the fastest on a road course too...

Is this car to good to be true???

I think so...

I thought I was the only one on this bandwagon. AFAIC, if the car is juiced, the engine value is scrap, or maybe breaker yard value. It doesn't take many seconds on the bottle to really hoark up the lower end.

Meh, what do I know.

Like I said-his claims. I will temper it by saying that in business and personal matters he's always been 100% honest and never boastful; however, in matters of cars we all know it's the most exaggerated topic amongst men...

If no sale comes out of this at least it will have provided pages of entertainment...

You must be a good guy to be friends with. Definitely good to have on the list with us.

We all look forward to seeing pics (928 ****) as well as seeing more details, but the seller's house down payment plans could be resolved at the casino and the car might then no longer be for sale.
