PM sent regarding intake and valve covers.

I don't know what changed on the intake manifold in 89/90, and on the valve covers in 88, but if they are the same as I have on the 91, I'd like to pick them up and prepare them for a future swap.

I'll take the intake and cam covers if Nicole backs out. Please PM me if they're available. Thanks.

I am also interested in the heads - pending the number.

So... how much extra to prep that block for the 944S2 pistons. Someone has to ask.

Thanks
Hans

I believe that most PM's and e-mails have been replied to unless the inquiry relates to common questions by several folks. Please look here for the answers to the commonly asked questions so far.

1.) Cylinder Heads are the 928.xxx.xxx.xxx 1R variants. If you are looking for the thicker boss, later heads, these are not them. These heads are nice and usable and for the $$$ would likely be a lesser cost repair to a complete cylinder head refurb on a 87-early 89 S4.

2.) The cam covers and intakes being sold are from an early 87. They should fit later years, but do have slight differences, mostly cosmetic. Cam covers are bare with no breather hardware, ready to be taken to a powder coater or finish yourself. The intake comes with it's flappy hardware, making it usable for most folks, regardless of year S4.

3.) I will attempt to take photos this evening after work. Please be patient if you need photos as part of your decision process.
