Default OB front grill supports

I have not been able to find the PN's (PET 7.0) for the vertical supports for the lower grill (bumper air inlet) on a 1979 928. I have two supports that are broken at the top near the mounting points. Are these parts replaceable or do I need an entire grill assembly?
Thanks

I assume you are talking about the three grille vertical supports. They are replaceable and the part numbers are ..... 928 559 137 02 is the centre bracket (NLA but you can get an aftermarket version) and the left and rights are 928 559 139 02. Double check that these are the right part number for the MY79 with Roger ... he has them. They are not all that expensive.

Yes, the three grill supports. The vertical supprts that attach the horizontal bars are broken at the top. They feel like rubber of a soft plastic.

Thanks guys.

the reason the supports are soft is so they can deform if the front bumper is pushed in they should still stay connected even if the bumper is in involved in a front end 5 mph crash.
Make sure to inspect the front bumper as if the car has been involved in a front end crash the bumper shocks will be collapsed and the fog lamps will be recessed into the PU cover. The bumper shocks are one time use .

I also recommend you contact Matt (backnblack) to see if he has any more of his updated custom grill brackets that last longer.
