Andy:

I watched the video and it seemed fine. The initial rough running adjustments you mention on first start-up would be expected after it appeared to be running without a MAF signal last time. Where is the idle now? Didn't sound too high. Did you take it for a test drive? Your NB AFR meter is now working like it should (oscillating between lean and rich).

Put the air cleaner housing back on. The bell in the bottom smooths airflow through the MAF, so it's a good idea to have it installed before you do any serious evaluation of lean/rich conditions.

UPDATE

After 30 miles of driving, there is not one hiccup, sputter or any sign of posession so far. I will read psalm 23 tonight to play it safe and have pea soup for dinner.

Good job! Glad to hear it is sorted (for now!). Sounds pretty normal in the video, will be even smoother with the air filter housing on.

 

Forgot to mention that idle is around 650..
