COLD AIR INTAKE NEXT LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE?

12v WOT throttle switch will be to a relay to activate the battery pack and a wire from the ESC's goes to the servo tester which control fan manually. Can then adjust fan speed at any fan motor rpm needed, its more like a boost adjuster if there will be any!

Been reading this thread and I don't know much about electronics but if you needed to generate continuous power for the fan motors maybe its possible to custom mount some form of generator in place of the a/c compressor? This could create a separate power system and eliminate the need for batteries?
Just a random thought!

You're right on another alternator or something like that.Someone has just done with the turbo charger system they had a 2nd alternator.Maybe without an air pump that area. Before I would go thru all that yet, have to test it out with battery packs to see if its even making boost.Being it is a 42 volt system there may be ways to bridge alternator and run seperate stereo batteries.Extra alternator would have some drag on the motor and weight of 4 larger dry cell batteries like they use for stereo would ad more weight to the car.Between the weight of batteries and drag from another alternator guessing would loose .1 or about 1 car length in the 1/4mile.
A couple of those little battery packs will turn over a car starter motor easy they have over 100amps in them and are around the size of a couple packs of cigarettes.
These are 42volt DC motors.
If the system would make 25HP that would probably take 1/2 of HP gained away with added weight of large batteries and alternator drag just guessing on that.

The units are threaded together where the fan blade is.
The area between the motor and tail cone section is more of a working fit to get apart to get the motor.
Not sure if that would blow apart when running under pressure.
Could weld a couple blocks on each unit and bolt together for now going to use fabricated straps which are
under the clamps that are used for the rubbers.
Set screws might work but then side pressure would be on the thinner unit where the motor mounts and could distort it.

The air intake system is a device that allows air to flow into the engine thereby lowering the temperature of the internal combustion. Most cars are typically equipped with a standard air intake which reduces the engine noise, but reduces the efficiency of the engine in terms of horsepower and fuel intake. Cold air intakes, on the other hand, have been developed to gush in lower temperature air directly into the vehicle's internal-combustion engine, thereby increasing horsepower and efficiency of the engine.

often times cold air intakes can equal stock intakes. but, stock intakes can have more turns and bends and restriction do to filter orientation and design. so far, that hasnt been the case with my limited dyno work, but I also have vented the air box to the rear and sealed it . so, vs stock, its not a fair comparison.
cold air doesnt increase efficiency, it increases density which give more power. big difference.

Working on WOT switch, have to spot the switch then trim around it after.
Designed the WOT bracket that locates off the edges on the stock throttle bracket. The bracket slides into place locates off the stock throttle bracket so it can't turn,it just uses the front bolt to mount.
Left front upper corner of picture shows the backside of the bracket where it is relieved all around so it can locate off the stock bracket.
Could also trim off the back half of the bracket as the front area would be good enough to mount.
If the fans don't work out,the switch setup would be good for Nitrous!

i used the automatic kick down switch under the gas pedal. i had it set up such a way, that if I didnt want it to energize, i just didnt give it the extra push at the bottom of the throttle travel.

The best and simplest example is to blow perpendicular to the volute of a Coke bottle, just at the aperture. This sound is a Helmholtz resonance.
The intake geometry of the 928 doesn't provide any derivative which comes close to the free air speed of the intake air movement. Maybe it would at air volumes when running around 10,000RPM or above, but anything under that, you won't get any resonance unless there are some straight lines with flanges in the 928 intake I'm unaware of.
