Ok but this is not a cold air intake. It's just an intake with perhaps more performance. Naming it a cold air intake is missleading.

In the winter its a cold air intake. In the summer its a hot air intake.
Fall and spring its an air intake.
The stock setup isn't drawing air from under the heated part of the hood its more of a cold air intake from the factory.
Some may call it the same and others may not, doesn't matter won't be selling them anyways if it works
so its not missleading to anyone whatever name it is.
Its already has more performance over stock just with what I started with, the car picked up close 2mph in the 1/8mile just trying to ad more to the system to make it better. It may or may not work any better.

Picked up the adapters today and mounted the one motor to check fit.Now have to figure out dimensions on the adapters from motor shafts to blades when I get more time.Instead of using socket head cap screws on the inside part of the unit put in shoulder bolts along with extra bearing to help locate and support the longer shafts.Low style flange button head screws are used instead of socket head cap screws on the front of the unit to get the blade closer to the stator. The electrical part has a long ways to go which I haven't started yet as not familar with it like as the part design stuff I like to do.The one adapter is in the unit and the one under the motor is to show what it looks like.

wow, that looks nice. lets see the impellers.
we are experimenting with a 2000watt dcbrushless motor and a 3.5" fan. prelim tests are good, but we are using 24volts, so charging is a trick. so is the motor contoller. remember , we own the patent, but if this is good, we can have you join us with the design!

the 928 provides a unique challege for this design idea, because you need two of them. mustang for example, only needs one. who knows what the results will be, but if the impeller is correct , it could produce some decent pressure. (still under 2psi at best estimation) the only way to get higher would be to use a two stage design. twin shaft, impeller front and rear would do.

Just going to use basic ESC and maybe wireless radio since its an auto car can turn on the fans when needed.Impellers or type of blades not showing the style not sure how good they will be.If I get that far where they work good would let you know what I tried. As you were talking before the cost is high.

volume is known, about 500cfm at 600rpm is what our motors need, so the presssure has to be present at this air flow. as with axial flow fans, when you go up in flow, the pressure will go down, so you need a moderate amount of air flow with no pressure, to create pressure at the lower air flow requirements of our engines. the eRAM basically was trying to make a net change in pressure in the air box , or intake of near 1psi. creating no pressure alone, and relieving .5psi of intake vaccum at wOT, gave part of the gains.
