Yes, there's a "turbo timer" in the pump controller that runs the aux electric coolant pump for 5 minutes after the engine shutdown.

Bypass valves still to be installed, and the PCV (or should I say just CV) system needs to be hooked up as well.

In the midst of all the bull**** I have neglected to mention that the car has now been running for a couple of days. Just a light shakedown, no WOT or boost runs of any kind yet.

I guess it's time to say:
CONGRATULATIONS!

Progress, but the project's not over the goal line yet. Tuning is a big project and may expose issues. Then there's the 1000 mile reliability test.

Well, getting it running is a huge enough step to be congratulated with.
Best of luck with tuning.

I would say getting it running is only about 50% of it. The tuning takes a lot of time and expense. Then while tuning you expose a weakness in the system/car that needs to be fixed, then you start over again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

So are YOU driving it or is John?

All John up to this point and also the dyno tuning is all John. I have basically been a fat guy in a suit bankrolling this up this point, ok with some minimal design input. I'll do the 1000 mile test, and the quarter mile stuff after the first round of dyno tuning is done.

Figuratively, my role in relation to the twin turbo project so far:

[EDIT: The last photo was firmly outside the boundaries of bad taste]

More news on the turbo front.

The car's been running for a couple of weeks and all known issues are now resolved. John's turbo system itself has no issues but the car itself needed some TLC and upgrades. The most important issues were related to the EZK and Hall sensor. My original EZK is revision .10 and refused to talk to the Sharktuner. I had a spare EZK revision .15 which I bought from Mark Benton for a very good price just in case, and that talks to ST just fine. .10 is really early, something like 11/86 manufacturing date I am guessing. The problem then was that Hall sensor or sensor wiring was busted, but the ST didn't show a fault whereas the EZK sensed it. New sensor in after confirming the output was not right, and that cured the 6 degree retard.

The injectors are larger than what people usually run (60lb/h Siemens Dekas), so it was interesting to see how those worked. With John's base maps, the idle was perfect and the cruise map was almost perfectly spot on. John is fine tuning the cruise map on the car right now. The good thing is that the transient response off boost is indistinguishable from stock.

The car saw about 2 pounds of boost in cruise map / transient testing at most. More boost over the next couple of hours and days.

So what are your plans for the built engine you have in your avatar? How long will you be running the stock engine? Is the stock engine a test mule to see how high you can turn it up before it gives up?
