Since Tuomo broke the last transmission it has been completely silent from him. How come, is he depressed or has he become ill with Covid-19? We can only hope for the best, that he will soon be back here on the forum.

We need to contemplate that option.

In the meanwhile, I’ll dispose of some surgical face masks and G28.13 transmissions. Looks like they have about 200-400 full load acceleration pulls in them, them transmissions.
P, I missed this first time around - I'm sorry to hear it...

As we discussed earlier, just get a C7 Z06 trans - no need for a racing trans.

Chin up!

Ah yes the old broken transmission , haven't had that experience yet , but will probably expect that eventually with the increase in power to our race engine launch this year.

John, I'm not so sure about that, your power delivery is not the same as a TT, nor a stroker for that matter.

You do have much higher hp than stock (...450 rwhp?), however, the torque delivery is nothing like either engine configuration above. And as such, is much more friendly on the drivetrain.

You should start a new thread on what you did to your engine - impressive to say the least.

Furthermore he is busy restoring a nice waterfront house in Finland and the very big house his wife recently bought outside Boston.

Yeah, I made the mistake of retiring and haven’t been this busy for years!

A transmission question: who’s the best party to put the strongest “Corvette” style manual transmission in a 928S4? I’ve come to the end of the road with the 928 five speeds, one seems to last for about 50 hard accelerations on the road or 250 dyno runs on a computer controlled and stabilized hub dyno. It’s neither in my nor the world’s interest for me to use up these rare (if poorly designed) five speed transmissions at a rate that shore-leave sailors use up… but I’m digressing. So perhaps the next step is a non-Porsche transmission?

P, good to hear from you and knowing that you're well!

I would contact on this board Dinsdale or xschop - both master craftsmen!

A C7 Z06 manual would be perfect for your needs.

Thank you!

I bought and restored this, following up on Ake’s comment:

We also started a venture capital firm and have made 13 investments this year, my oldest daughter got her learning permit and chose as her car Tesla Model S Plaid, I’m contemplating a 993 Turbo purchase for the Espoo house garage (https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turbo-forum/1311362-contemplating-buying-an-already-modified-993-turbo.html), the boat in the photo has 82 hours on it already, skied the Alps for the first time — head first, etc.

I got a motorcycle jacket at the Monaco Grand Prix and it looked silly without a motorcycle so I got a motorcycle as well. My riding of it has been trending up in terms of legality ever since:

Speaking of F1, Miami Grand Prix is by far the best party in the F1 circuit. I mean, no comparison, there were so many celebrities in the parties that Lewis Hamilton had a difficulty in getting in! Monaco VIP parties cost EUR 1,000 to get in, Miami VIP parties were infinitely more expensive to get in while free!

Have you ever designed an ECU calibration for a bio ethanol (no gasoline) race car? I have! First time out in Riga, Latvia, the (best ever) driver won every start on that tune:
