Dash is as finished as I am going to make it. This has been a real bear but its done and I'm glad. here it is with the leather pod Jerry sent Garrett. The dash is vinyl and they are REAL close in color and texture. Next is putting it in the car.

I glued the cover over a period of a few weeks. I don't know how it could be glued all at the same time. I glued the top and flat face making sure the seam was straight. Then after that was good an dried I started the trim and tuck in small increments till I was as done as I am going to be.

Looks great Dean! When I did the job I used a contact cement that set up in 5 minutes which allowed me to do the dash in one evening, while only doing small areas at a time. When you have to wait an hour for typical contact cement then it really takes time.

Reinstalled the blower motor, rear seats, back console and tunnel carpet. I had to pull the rear seats awhile back. Wasn't happy with the fit. After removing the sound insulation there is a LOT to do to get the console and seats to fit right, or at least better. The sound insulation adds INCHES to the seat area...so without filling that void there would be inches of gap at the seat to console and side bulkheads. Anyway I think they "fit" much better now than before. I also bought a new black carpet set from Rob Budd that REALLY will make the interior pop now. Just could not put that old carpet back in after all this work. Heres the remounted back seats.

Looks great. Too bad you did not get an older console with the glove box and maybe ash tray. There is limited accessory ports and storage in the car as it is.

I love it. You did the back seats yourself as well, correct?

I really hope you change your hood emblem to have the Marvin in the center. That is killer.

Yes...the back seats are easy compared to the front.
Thanks.
