Nice car blog and pictures. My '79 manual is not coming back to this level, but is taking some work to get it back up to at least driveable after having been stored for 10 years. I think this sort of restore job would drive me nuts.

Back up to two external drives, keep one offsite somwhere safe and also backup to the cloud, then you have three different backups, that is if you want to have a good chance of recovering data in the future.

I have to finish reassembling inside passenger door, inside Driver door, dash, center console, windshield wipers. I can't think of anything that needs reupholstering thats not already done and ready to go in. If I can stay focused I hope to be done in a couple weeks.

Oh...I need a good passenger door threshold thats not broken. His is missing the 928 clear plastic and the dots in the 8. Anyone have one for sale???

Rand43Ang...I can not see your attachments.

Dean, those are hard to find not broken these days for sure! You need to put a green film over the fiberoptic material that Paul and Hans do so that it will look green in strong light (they look white if you don't put a colored film over them) and then use green LED's and man that would POP!!!

As seen in the post following yours...many of us have. Mine are red, but yes, EURO85 has that very thing. They look red even in bright daylight and then at night or low light they have this GORGEOUS red glow! OMG it is AWESOME!

Finished re assembling the passenger door lock, , o.s. door Handel. Used the Freeze king wrap to insulate the inside of the door and then cut a shower curtail liner to fit between the door and door panel. New carpet on the door liner. Used SEM COLOR COAT flexible coating in satin Black to refreshen the door panel skin and i.s arm rest. Everything was washed and clean when remounted. Took way too long but on the the driver side.
