Without sharktuning it consistently ran around 300whp with a stock 5.0 engine-cams
2875lbs approximately
The bad :>(The engine had a 4-8 rod bearing failure for a yet undetermined reason.
I have owned this 928 for approximately 1 year... I paid $13,500 and have nearly $40k invested in this project, and DO NOT want to sell...but for the sake of martial bliss I have no choice.... something has to give and divorces are pricey
The car is located in West Sacramento CA and will need to be towed, as it is not running nor street legal.
Open to all offers and will part out, if no buyer for the full car.... looking for $15k..... I plan on using the funds EXCLUSIVELY to fund my track and Lemons racing habit.....since it appears I can't afford a "real" race car according to my wife...

So sad... I know about spending a zillion dollars on a race car and barely driving it, but thankfully mine is still running (as far as I know anyway! LOL!)... Good luck w/ your sale and glad the Lemons car is at least doing well!

How much does a garage at Buttonwillow rent for? If I left it in the central valley the wife might not notice....

In a different economy I would already be on my way with a trailer.
Good luck with the sale, hope it stays in the Rennlist family.

Sorry to hear that Brian, is she interested in racing? Because maybe you can convince her to take it up? That way she gets to have a similar interest etc. Great shots btw,

I don't know what hurts more, Brian; Giving up the dream or giving away the car. $15k will be a total steal for someone.
That settles it. We need to get you a LeMons WIN now.
I feel for you Brutha.

Brian: Sad to hear about this dude. But there are other options. (Charley has multiple Sharks and no wife) Give her custody of the cats make a clean break and race on.

Sad to hear the news. I kinda feel responsible for this as I had the honor of naming the car "Black Widow" and it seems to have come true.
Thankfuly you have the Lemons car and it has a name so I am clear of that one.

Guys.......it is a loose-loose for me.......and it is a great deal for someone else....but the way I see it is I temporarily sacrifice my "real" racecar to allow me to "sponsor" the lemons effort for many years.....the $$$ from the widow will fund the lemons effort for a long time...... all of my options to get the widow running again are big $$$$ and there is no way the boss would ever go for it (what hurts more is I know I, umm, she can afford it)
the one thing I have learned in my short "racing" career is that its NO fun having a broken racecar....
For those out there that are seriously considering buying the widow....I am VERY open to offers...there are lots of little items included that are worth lots of $$$ that could be left out to reduce the price (like the $1300 seat, $400 steering wheel, $350 fire extingusher, wideband 02, sharktuner etc)
