I'm getting PM's daily with parts offers. I am learning a lot I didn't know about the GT, like the rolled fenders on all four corners among other things. I know to be road worthy it will need a trans, tube, and ecu's as well as passenger side head. I have the driver's side head although I haven't gotten it on the bench as of yet to inspect it. The engine looks very good in the bores and piston tops and it spins freely. The cams are there for the missing head but again I need to clean and inspect them. The driver's doorlock is damaged from the theft and there is a GTS rear bumper cover on it. Gary Knox was at the shop last week and took a look at it and he thought it should be restored which prompted my decision to let it go whole. It also needs a rad and fan set-up. Hope this helps.

What other MY trans would be a good one for this car?

How hard is it to find the proper head?

Did they try to strip it for parts?

I need those belly pans... they would serve better on my GT than on that one

Damn that looks like fun.

I'm starting to think I should sell one of my 928's and get one thats a "proper" project car.

Most everything is there. I started taking it apart when I first got it. Believe me despite the pics every part on this car is nice. When I decided to sell it whole I just stacked everything inside. Like I said the interior has not a crack and is near perfect, except the seats have normal wear but are still nice. Offers or trades fellas.

Selling for 4000.00 at this point. If it doesn't sell by tomorrow (no need to dicker, I don't need the $$) I will possibly be starting a parts for sale thread. I'm thinking someone with the time and talent can ressurect this super rare 928. I am just too busy to do it or I would, it should be an easy restoration, as far as restorations go.

Doesn't Dwayne have an empty U-Haul trailer headed west on I-80 right about now?
