Naw.

Looks like the unwanted progeny resulting from the rape of an NSX by a Ford Torino.

Or maybe the NSX was sporting a serious pair of beer goggles.

The 'Porsche' lettering in the front speaks to the pathetic outlook on life the above mogrel has: It suggests that it will be in the rear-view mirror of other cars and that its only hope is that their drivers can't read backwards. Porsches have 'Porsche' on the rear so that other cars know what just blasted past them on the autobahn.

I'll dig up my favorite rendering tonight and re-re-re-post it. (Las Vegas) Tony did it years and years ago.

Regardless of what they call it, I would bet money that a coupe Panamera variant is coming. The shooting brake version they just released is evidence that they are willing to diversify the line, especially since they showed a vintage 928 with it. Would be cool if they bring back the 928 moniker.

To me this looks like a cross between a Cayman and the last version of the SAAB 9-5 that was only made about 1 year before SAAB went bankrupt (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:2...ab_9-5_UWS.jpg). So much for the idea of hybrid vigor.

I think this is the best looking updated version I've seen. It still looks like our 928.

Needs a bodykit that makes the very Mercedes front end into something that looks more 928-ish. That could actually be cool...

Why buy the modern 928 from Mercedes when you can buy it from Porsche:

No, seriously, compare the dimensions: Original 911, 928, 991. The 991 is Porsche's modern GT car. You want a modern 928? Get the 991. You want a sports car? Get a Cayman or Boxster.

Default Panamera 2 door

All,
Please respond via pm as I really don't visit this forum.
That said, does anyone have any insight of a 2 door Panamera?
