Default GT vs GTS - What to choose?

I'm now having a very serious dilemma and I need your advice...To make it short:I have to choose between two really gorgeous 928's , a white '91 GT with black full leather interior (incl. dash) and a white '95 GTS Auto with full red leather interior( this car was imported from Quatar). Both are in near perfect condition, full history (both have around 100tkms on clock), absolutely original cars, both come with a Porsche 100-point-check Certificate, and both have the big service (incl timing belt/waterpump) fresh. The prices are 22000euro vs 28000euro(GTS). I will go to Germany next week but still cannot decide (I would get both if I could!) I have driven a manual S4 in the past but I haven't driven a GT nor a GTS...Are those so much different beast? What would be the best pick for a weekend car ( as I intend to use it)?

I'd take a GTS over ANY other 928...PERIOD! I just LOVE the fenders and it just looks so good, even current.

Wow, tough decision. My first thought would be go for the 5 speed but the white with full red leather interior is a great combination. I say drive them both and go with your instincts. You'll know which is right for you after you drive them.

GTS unless the GT drives better. Ditto James on the GTS looks.

Drive both and decide which tranny you prefer. I would take the GT for the 5spd, but I prefer the color combo of the GTS.

Good luck either way, great dillema to have!

I had an 89 GT and currently have a 93 GTS. Both 5 speeds. Both different animals, but the same in so many ways. The GT had lots of power down low the GTS has it up top at highway speeds. In your case the biggest difference is 5 speed VS Auto. Drive them both and let your gut lead you to the right choice.

Go for the GTS auto - so much better then the 5 speed crappy gearbox.

GT is a man's car. GTS - eh, not so much with the Rogerbox in it. If you want your sack pummiced, I guess the GTS is suitable.

The GTS auto would be my pick. Just a more rare car and they look so good.

If you're going to keep it as a collector item, I'd figure the GTS is the right one - last of the breed, and far better "pull" with the auction-oriented crowd.

As a driver, the GT is the choice here. Honestly as rare as the GTS, some really great parts in it, less oil consumption issues, less weight, and typically half the price for similar condition.

GTS for sure!
I've driven Roger's and even with the Roger Box, it's not so bad!
