x928!

It's scary enough to ride with Tim in one of his SC beasts....

They would have to add a lot of guard rails before I would run up that hill like that!

KUDOS Carl for representing the 928 so well in an amazing event!

Nobuhiro Tajima in the Monster SX 4 set overall fast time at 10:15 ...there is some great video on Utube ....too much loose gravel prevented him from breaking his goal of 10 minutes

Congratulations again, Carl & team.

Onward and upward! (Sort of fits Pike's Peak...)

Congratulations to Carl and everyone who helped him achieve his success. This kind of racing takes money, ***** and a lot of determined people. Excellent results.

I was suprised to see times what they were. We have had so much rain here lately the mountain roads are in bad shape. The road leading to some hunting property I have is washed out and they say it will be Sept. before it is repaired. I'm told wettest June in 30 years. So with all that rain Pikes Peak never really dried out to give the drivers that packed down base that it usually has. There was still a good amount of snow above tree line up til the begining of July.

Hi guys - just got "in" the office although my brain hasn't quite caught up yet.

Yes, we won 3rd in the Open Division, and was the fastest 2WD car in the Open.

The two cars that beat me were 600 HP Turbo AWD cars. Its hard to beat AWD on a hill climb thats half gravel.

We represented well, and its a hoot to beat a Lister with a LS-1, and a bunch of other great drivers and cars.

Out of 3 appearances at Pikes Peak, we have had a podium finish twice, so we do like what we are doing.

My son pointed out that our time was good enough for first place if we would have enterred the Vintage class, but I like the Pikes Peak Open. Its tougher.

I'm a little behind in all my emails and voicemails - so I will keep this short. I will post pics and video as soon as I can.

Thank you for your support,

Congratulations Carl!!

My stepson sent me a link to your results and was impressed about what you did with your 928 compared to your competition, as I am. Competing in the Open Division and having a podium finish is just awesome!! From the street pictures it seems you had many fans there too!

Carl, can you post any video yet? Personally, I'd like to see you on Jalopnik or Grassroots Motorsports.

You guys deserve the attention.
