Leaving early to try and beat as much heat as possible

Anyone have suggestions for a lunch buffet in Vegas?
I've staying in Cedar City tomorrow night, will be at a conference at Snowbird until next weekend.
Afterwards, coming back through Reno and visiting a friend. Any suggestions for a hotel deal in Reno?

Man there is really going to be a very opinionated view on a Lunch Buffet. What kind of food do you want? Do you want to eat straight off the freeway or??

Try the Reo Buffet, food is fresh, great price, little bit of everything. Its right off the I 15 at Flamingo Bl. you can see it from the freeway, easy off and back on.

Too late, but I went to the Village buffet at Paris. Pretty good.
This trip is turning into an adventure.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
1) My air conditioning gave out as I arrived in vegas. Oh well (I thought to myself), my mechanic warned me when it was repaired in March that they weren't sure they got all the leaks.
2) 10 miles out (near the speedway) I felt the engine torque and then smelled burning belt. I pulled into a truck stop.
3) Yep, AC problem is jumped belt. Not wraped anywhere, I get the knife to cut it off.
4) Oops. Puncturing the radiator hose wasn't a smooth move on my part.
5) Fortunately I prepared a list of Porsche shops on my route. Called Black Sheep Automotive, and Scott was ready to help in any way possible.
6) 1.5 hours later, the tow shows up (glad I made sure I had my tow hook) and we get to BSA at about 6:45.
7) they don't have the right hose, so they fabricate an adapter (nice welding!).
8) The AC won't turn, BTW. No surprise there considering the jumped belt.
9) I'm on my way by 8 and in Cedar City 2.5 hours later.
Dave, I might NEED to drop by your shop. I'll call you when I have a chance. When are you leaving for OCIC?
