I'm going to the street show off tonight and was wondering if the 928 is in town? I will take some pictures if he's around.

Sweet!! Hopefully he's at the show off tonight. Otherwise it's hard to see much on the mountain. Life goes by pretty fast.

Awsome that Porsche is represented on the mountain. He should get some factory support for the exposure. I'm suprised they have no factory car for the race that I can ever remember.

Oh and to keep this alive in the technical forum.

How should I refinish my lug nuts? Black, polished, some other color, bye new ones. I'll get a better picture later. They are stock 82 that were black but are fading.

It is a time distance rally historically run on gravel now mostly blacktop. It is a odd mix of vehicles which show up and some of the fastest stuff just plain looks weird..... There was a 911 c4 run a couple years and one crazy Japanese guy with a $1,000,000 estimated cost turbo something....

....Suzuki is nuts. AWD is king of the hill so I would think Porsche could find something to send up the road.

On the lug nuts, buy a set from 928Intl that Mark sends out for powder coating.

Just got a call from my son (he lives in Colorado Springs), said he met Carl today.

Intoduced himself, and Carl said that name is familiar.
Son said, "My dad owns a 928 and is one of your customers".
Carl replied "Ahhhhhhhh, knew I recognized that name".

Apparently Carl, had his personal best time in the "W".

Sorry, I am unfamiliar. Is the "W" a part of the course?
TIA,
