There's also a Humperdinks brewery/restaurant within a few blocks. Pretty decent beer and good burgers.
....eating is my second favorite thing to do.

Fogo de Chaio is pretty good as well - as John's says bring an appetite.

Fogo (or one like it) is just up Hwy 157 towards Grapevine right after 157 ties in to 121 (and the name changes to 121) IIRC... Great place. Ate there several years ago...yummy, but GO HUNGRY so you can get your monies worth!

It's called Boi Na Braza and it's about 15-20 minutes away from the hotel up off 121 in Grapevine
Here's the main website, click Dallas location for directions. Ive been there several time and it is AWESOME!! Brazilian Steakhouse with a Texas flair.

Okay, got my hotel room, got my flight ticket, waiting for paypal to transfer funds so I can register.... Looking forward to TEXAS!
Curious if there's a Kart track nearby so we can see which region knows how to drive.
I seem to recall a couple of years ago PacNW went 1,2,3 at Sharktoberfest. Any takers?

Do we have any idea how long the dyno runs will be going on Friday? I'll be flying in from a business trip Friday around 2pm, and head straight to the dyno place (I'm driving my car to Dallas the previous Monday from Houston, and parking in a secure DFW parking lot with covered parking). I've never dyno'ed the car before and am really looking forward to it, so hopefully I'll be able to get a few runs in mid afternoon.
Just wanted to let everyone one know there may be some late arrivers....

Time to Cowboy Up you Foofy Texans
Going to Texas to eat Brazilian style meat? It's like coming to Kauai expecting Kalua Pig cooked in an imu (in ground) and the Hawiians are raving about the Sweet and Sour Pork at Lee's Chinese Diner. Doesn't make sense to me. Not saying that Brazillian style grilled meat on a stick that is sliced onto your plate is not good, it is, but come on Texan's, where's that pride in your mesquite barbequed/grilled steaks? I want Texas barbeque. Where is it? Sheesh!
Texas has gone cosmopolitan. Truly sad.
