It's getting boring trying to 'guess' when things are to arrive, so i wont attempt it
Towards the end of January we might see something, but then again, that's just a guess

Steve, I don't have any info on the watches right now, but I sure to like your avatar! Love to see a full size image of that! Even better the live and in person image of that sitting on my lap...but I digress... LOL!

As a watch collector also, i would prefer a Swiss automatic. A bracelet would be nice, but the new rubber straps look really cool...the band could have a tire tread design (too cheesy?)

Wow...sanjay, sounds like we have you covered. I can't believe you didn't go back and read all 840+ posts! LOL!
It is an Automatic Swiss movement.
It comes with two bands (neither are a bracelet or rubber and yea, tire tread a bit cheesy for this)
Sapphire crystal, exhibition back!
If you get your Serial number request to Chris (vtc4198) SOON you will get in on the $595 buy, if you wait then you will have to pay $729 (the regular price).
Welcome to the group! This is a great place to be and this watch is a REAL collectors piece, not a POS!
Oh, yea the dial has then hands like the early car needles and the face is the "!" button at the 12 o'clock position and the "redline" from 3 to 4... nice 928 silhouette at the 6 position...

This looks awesome! Thanks very much.
I am new to Rennlist (i just purchased a 928 and am waiting for delivery) I wrote a post about it, but I'm not sure where it is (not under the 928 forum). Hopefully I will get the car this week and I will get the serial number to Chris ASAP.
Thanks again.

Sanjay,
You don't have to have a 928 or the VIN for your car to get a watch. The serial number deal is if you wanted to reserve a specific number. Like for me, I have the only '92 GTS in the USA so my S/N will be 92, others have the S/N's of their model year, or some other special date in their lives.
The numbers are 1-100 and many are already taken (about 60 are already reserved), so if you have a 2 digit number that you like email it to Chris and he can tell you if that is available. You can also go back several posts to see the most recent listing of available numbers.
Welcome to the group!
Repost your info on your car to a different thread than this one. You can find at the top left where all of the threads are listed for the 928 Forum "post new topic" or something like that. Fill in the subject line with something like "new to the forum" or whatever and off you go with your first thread!
