will be in bakersfield representing 928's and terrorizing the locals in the minter field AX event sunday

btw, there is a PCA AX that's going to be held in july on the fontana track!!! should be a total blast!
only thing better than a day of racing is if you get to miss work to do it!!

Speed Ventures is a private track day organizer. Unlike POC, SCCA or NASA they're pretty damn flexible about who can drive in what groups with them. If you pays your monies, you can drive. I can only speak personally for NASA but I understand the others are the same about making sure you know what you're doing with free, private instruction until you prove to them that you understand what driving on the track is all about before they turn you lose and move you up to the advanced groups. SV you just tell them you're ready.
I'm not bashing them because I've had fun at the two track days I've run with them but I learned a lot more from my NASA weekend and am glad I started off that way.
In the email they sent out about running this weekend with them they were adamant that the passing rules (point by, but point any faster cars by quickly) would be enforced or you'd be done for the day. I'd like to see how that goes.

He is running the 928. It's kind of a miracle. It had a crack in 5th gear almost half the way around the gear.
