Guys, I finally got my SC back on the road. I spend half day yesterday steam cleaning the carpets and cleaning the leather. The car never looked and smelled this good. Hopefully I get to polish the car this weekend.

Anyways, I bought an LSD unit from 928INtl last year and I am planning on installing the unit before SITM. My plans are to replace it with the gearbox in situ by removing the gas tank (done that with my old 1988 and it was pretty easy process). Can you guys please post the best links for the LSD install? Also, should I rebuilt the unit? Instructions? This is my first experience with LSD so please help....

Hi,

in the latest issue of the Excellence mag is a very detailed write up of a clutch type LSD installation in a 944 5-speed gearbox with a lot of pictures.
May be this can help a bit.

You can also search the excellence website, maybe they have it online or you are able to order this specific issue.
