Default Definition of an OB

So, in the Read This Before Your First Post Thread an OB is defined as "Old Bugger, an older 928, model year 1978-1980".
However in language sometimes definitions change to conform to popular usage (for instance originally a factoid was an incorrect fact, now it is not).
It seems that OB is used for 16V cars now.
So which is it? You decide.

Default OB

I actually think of the early cars without spoilers 78-82 as OB.
928 S 16V 1983-84
928 S 32V 1985-86 + 86.5
928 S4 1987-91- could argue splitting digital dash
928 GT 1989-91
928 GTS 1993-95

In the email list of the early 2000s and the late 90s, "OB" - meant Old Bugger - CIS, 78, 79 only. 80s are L-Jet as I recall, so that excludes them.

Wasn't this exact poll already done? Not that you could find it with the search feature...

John,
I cannot find the poll, not that I dispute it's existence. The point is that meanings change with time and usage. So, a current poll would be more what I was looking for anyway.
Plus, yeah, search now sucks in a pretty bad way.
Thanks for voting.

This poll is null and void as the correct answer isn't included!

This is as I remember it, the term OB applied to the CIS only.
Not that I remember much at my age, but some factoids stick.

Hacker,
Y'know I actually pride in my ability to search the web. I can usually find what I am after very quickly. Since the search changes here, I have had a lot less success. The way it is set up now (and I have read and understand the new instructions), it probably takes me three to four times longer to find what I am after. At some point I just say forget it and ask the question.
