Default Supercharged 928 Testarossa Pics

Not normally my style but I couldn't resist painting the cam towers red

This is the new 4.5 going into my track car. Started with a newly built long-block from Carl (thanks..) and then transferred all of the newly powder coated components from my old engine. My goal is to be back on the road by spring.

Thank you Barry.

My version: short block= assembled block
long block= assembled block with heads bolted on.

I'll let you know after I fire it up. The last time I ran it I blew a head gasket before I had a chance to sort out the boost guage wiring.

Just curious since I have dual 3" hoses feeding my blower through a 4" inlet. Curious how much that snorkel can flow.

hehe, you're not alone Dave, i installed a A/F gauge and wanted to work a bit on the carbs.. but before any result , gallon of cooling water was pressed out the reservoir... what a mess... seemed to be a "sticking" thermostat , runs fine again... hope so... X fingers for a head gasket...

My wife doesn't understand why that is so much fun. The last time I "warmed up" the tires the smoke would not evacuate from the interior and wheel wells. By the time I got to the end of my street I was afraid the car was on fire so I turned around and came home !
