Default Jay Steel at Taylor Engines - RIP

Just a note, for any of you that had the good fortune to every have Jay Steele at Taylor Engines do anything for you...he has passed on. Jay was certainly the best machinist I'd ever met and a real class act. I'll miss him forever.

Sad news. Very sorry to hear this.

Jay was straight up when I dealt with him. He and his work was greatly appreciated.

Man what a nice guy! He provided excellent customer service in addition to his quality machine work.

My condolences to his friends and Family.

RIP, Jay

Godspeed!

February 7th, there is a memorial to Jay planned at his shop. I'd expect it to be a huge gathering, with names like Jay Leno and Randy Ema. Jay was too sick, to have his annual Christmas party. So, this is a late Christmas party/memorial to his genius.

Was Jay in a battle with cancer, or?

Yes, although he wouldn't talk about it or admit it. Esophageal. He worked the day before he passed away. Now that's tough.
