David................do you have a pic of the main doors from the inside looking out? Also was wondering what wind considerations you have for buildings in your area. TIA

Rixter,
I want to get all the guys over one Saturday after coffee and have a beer drinking tech session.
Malcolm,
The building is rated for 120 mph sustained, IIRC. But it's behind hill and in a valley, so it's well protected from wind.
I think I have $45k in it so far.

David,
Great garage, and having built one about half that size 3 years ago, including lift, I can tell you that you can't yet IMAGINE how much enjoyment you'll have working in it, and you'll wonder why it took so long to do it (I'd wanted one since 1970!). I built with an attic storage area above, which is now FULL of spare parts, etc!! Didn't get all of the attached garage and basement car stuff cleared out either!! - ha. Anyway, great job - enjoy.
You mentioned painting the floor. I looked intoboth paint and stain, and ultimately decided to use concrete stain. It gives a great "look" to the floor. After staining, and before use, I put a coat of clear epoxy on top of the stain. There are lots of stains available, I used the acid etching type, and sprayed it on according to the instructions.

Generally I sell a building like that fully built as this one for 60k. With mats and labor I will have about 38 or so in it. You saved almost half of the profit.
