Default 87 S4 Fuel Injector ID

Does anyone have the Bosch part number for the fuel injector for an 87 S4 ?
I just got a new set of 4 holes from FivoMotorsport and they dont look anything like the originals, as they are yellow plastic and they are a bit thinner around the middle where the originals are barrel shaped.
The PN on the new injector is 0 280 155 710. They ohm out at 14.7 and I did get the correct set of O rings for no extra charge they cost was 359.00 including shipping, and they are brand new.
Thanks for your time, Stan

Hey Stan,

Hope you're doing well my friend. IIRC those design III style injectors don't have the cutout in the right place for the C-clip that secures the injector into the fuel rail.

Fred thanks for the last bit of info. So with no C clip cut then the injector can possibly slide further in but that might not be a problem. as ther isnt really any place for the injector to go however it should not slide outwards either
. So I think that I am making a call to the FiveO motorsports, I will post more as things progress..

Anyone else know what the specs are for the injector number that I posted???

Hello Stan,
I just sent Virginia's ('87) injectors to Witchhunters for testing/cleaning last week. They are on their way back to me as of yesterday - should be here tomorrow. If I get them tomorrow and someone else hasn't answered your question, I'll get the part number off of them and post.

I searched for your part # Stan, but can't find any info... I confirm the P/N given by Malcolm is the OEM item.

Not true. The injector can fall enough into the manfold that gas will leak out the top and start a fire. Happened to Tom Cloutier when the clips were not installed. There is only a tiny lip in the manifold and it is not high enough to stop the injector from blowing loose at the top.

Bill I was worried about the C clip but i tried it on the injector it fits snug and the C clip cutouts will fit onto the fuel rail and there is a big rib just under the upper O ring so i would hope it would catch the injector from falling out. I am calling them in the morning to see why they sent these. Thanks for the help everyone

OK, as long as the injectors are clipped securely to the rail.

Not quite responsive to your question, but here is a link to some injector info that might be useful:
