Batch injection is okay to about 85% duty cycle. Over that, you are asking for problems, heat related, wear related, etc.
For sequential, however, A. Graham Bell suggests that you should not exceed 70% duty cycle, as that is no longer taking advantage of the sequential system, and there is no power bump. Its not worth it. So while larger injectors are sifficult with good idle if you don't have the tunability, they allow much lower (safer, better) duty cycles.

So the thought came to me just a minute ago
Any chance you could get a G-Tech or some other such device on the car to do a quick 0-60 and 1/4 mile time? I would love to see the numbers on those. I would imagine they are just as impressive as the dyno numbers.
Considering Car And Driver got a 1990 GT to 60 in 5.2 seconds and through the 1/4 in 13.7, I imagine you could crack 4's to 60, and possibly get into the low 13's in the 1/4
Curious, could we see these results?
I know this is a track car and you may run these tests with track tires, but i would love to see some numbers regardless.
I have to confess, this engine you guys have put together has really got my interest in 928's at an all time high. The though of another stage to address the entire air intake side of things should produce even greater results and now I cant wait to play around with another engine.

why dont we mark off 1/4 mile at thunderhill on the backside. come out of the S's and stop and then nail it for a 1/4 mile run. AND, put a go pro on the speedo and do 0-60mph. Im sure its going to be in the 4s as mine was with 335rwhp 335rwt. 1/4mile will be in the 11s, no doubt.
Ive done some tests with mine and its near 1 second 40 to 60!
450flywheel hp, 470flywheel torque (or 400fwt in Dennis' case) and 2700lbs on race rubber is quite capable and the numbers will be as fast as anything produced in producton today. In Dennis' case, all with a stock engine with a set of headers and slightly modified cam as its only real modification.

FYI, to do those tests you just press start on the menu and then from a dead stop floor the throttle and GO, it calculates when you hit 60 and times it, and when youve passed 1/4 mile distance and times it. Your car is also allot lighter then this 88 (i believe)

I have the Iphone G meter, but it doesnt work. you would think that with a Gmeter inside, they could get some software to do the job!

Thanks peter. I did the "pocket dyno" and it is real bad. ($5bucks also!) the demo version is free and thats what sucks you in. then, you buy it and it doesnt work!

the first release had some issues with the calibration function locking up sometimes.
They have now fixed that in the latest version and I have had no issues.
Great thing for 13 bucks at apple store.
(Compared with the G-tech it is almost for free)

One difficulty in getting a representative 0-60 or 1/4 mile time is that I don't really know how to launch the car. I've never drag raced or even street raced before. (freeway pulls - I'll plead the 5th)
AFAIK it's down to the driver to produce the good 60' times and w/ me at the wheel, there'd be a lot of user error. It'd take me a dozen attempts (maybe more?) to figure out the right rpm to dump the clutch. By then the clutch would probably be smoking rubble.
Now if you want to compare magazine laptimes at Laguna, Sears, Thunderhill or Buttonwillow, I can provide those.

I hate drag racing and your results would most likely be EXACTLY what my results would be when launching the car. I have to admit i havent often kept the revs at 4,000 plus RPM and SIMPLY DUMPED the clutch to accelerate, i let it go easily, so i probably launch similiar to you.
