Despite the lunch venue challenge, this should be a good run
The notes I see that indicate they were closed are from last year. I'll try to call them tomorrow. Otherwise, Melo's.

Given the hour, on a weekend, I'd guess 1 hour to 1:15 tops... and even that's at Camry speeds...
I'm factoring traffic on the 580 coming out of Marin. There is a bottleneck there where it backs up. Then again, I'll probably be there in less than an hour if I leave at the right time.

I'm still trying to get use to the traffic patterns here. People drive less crazy here compared to San Diego.

I think of it more as less efficient than less crazy. I always enjoy driving in LA and San Diego because drivers there seem to flat take care of business. You have to be a little more alert, but if you know how to take care of yourself in traffic, the faster pace is more enjoyable.

Do not goto South San Diego... talk about being alert. Uninsured Tijuaneros just do not care down there.

You're right. Kamakazi drivers are a whole 'nother matter.

They are Tijuanero not Japanese. Kamikaze is an understatement.

All is go here for me on the 16th. Looks like the girlfriend gets car sick on backroads (found that one out this past sunday.)

TTT

I should be able to make this. I might even have my wife with me for her first fun drive in the 928 (she has taken long trips in it at moderate pace).

See all on Saturaday
