What a great get to together that was! I really enjoyed meeting all of the people and seeing all of the awesome cars.

THANKS to Mike and Gina for putting this together and being such great hosts!

And also thanks to the Peachstate PCA, 928sRus, Howard Wright and the 928 OC for suporting and helping make this a great event.

Hopefully this is the first of what will become a yearly event.

Looks like it was a great inaugural event. Great job Mike & congrats, I know you worked hard to put it all together. Wish we could of made it up, perhaps next year.

A great day indeed; it was fun to meet some fellow addicts and admire some seriously cool hardware. Mark, you beat me by between 2 and 3 HP but as Abby pointed out to me our Saturday numbers were "at the wheel" as opposed to the factory "at the crank" numbers--my owners manual says my 82 had about 220 HP as opposed to the 177.8 I showed on the dyno, but there would be a clear difference at the crank. The torque numbers were wild since they peaked whenever my automatic shifted, but I'm still happy with the results for a 207K mile car, and I'd like to add my sincere thanks to Mike & his family for putting the event together---sorry I couldn't hang around the kegerator a bit longer!

Hey - thanks for letting me drop in. I really enjoyed checking out that machine shop over at the dyno. Got some good info out of my runs and that Rob fellow was really nice. Howards shop as usual was spotless and I was drooling over the ps rebuild station

The 928s looked great and that grey supercharged one was a beast!

BMOD was Woody with 430hp but he was having fueling issues and said that was down considerably from his last run, not enough fuel up top. Dan Prantl put down 405 after he removed a restrictive air intake, but those were the only two that crossed 400. Both cars were running versions of Andy's kit I believe. Gary's S4 was damn impressive for a 300hp pull, really nice.

BTW Woody's car sounded like a NASCAR engine at full rip, incredible. I did not expect that kind of sound or volume, really brought out some spectators from neighboring shops! I guess that's what dual 3" sounds like.

I think we had 8 to 10 928s on the dyno. I was back and forth between the two shops so I'm not sure. I was planning to run mine last but it was around 3:00 when everyone else was done and the concours judging, door prize giveaways and tech session were finished. The weather was great but it was a little warm Saturday so by that time, all I could think of was that keg of Sweetwater 420 chillin at the house. I didn't hear too many objections when I announced it was time to head for home and a few cold ones.
I hope someone else will post some pics of the people that were there. I got shots of the cars early on but didn't have much time for photography after everything got rollin.

I spoke to Howard yesterday while I was picking up the tables and chairs from his shop. He said he was very pleased with the way the event turned out and really enjoyed it. I mentioned to him that several people had suggested that we should make this an annual event and he agreed without hesitation.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

I'm guessing those numbers might be a little higher next year.

Hey, where's that pic of the car in front of the fountain?

I'm going to have to ask Mindy to send them to me since I didn't take a single picture.
