Right now the forecast looks good. The projected path of Hanna takes it to our east and it should be north of us by Saturday. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hi Josh,
With the number we have confirmed for the dyno, there should be room for you after the 928s are done. The dyno operator gave us the excellent rate of $40 per car due in part to all of the cars being the same but I doubt he would mind. Come on by. I look forward to meeting any Pcar and its owner.

No pressure eh? Are there going to be any forced induction 928s there? There was a fellow with a black one that came to one of our 44 gatherings a while back - sweet car!

I know of at least one that's driving in from Bama. It's a sight to behold on the dyno. I saw it a couple of years ago at SC Dyno Day and Woody's increased the PSI since then. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

Mike,
Can you recommend a good hotel close to your place? My friends relatives are comming in this weekend, and though I can still stay, it may be a little crowded. He lives about 25 minutes NE of you, so anything in between is fine.
Thanks,
Woody

I was hoping to skip a day at our family reunion in Savannah and make it but, we have to leave the morning. My brothers boat is in the keys, directly in line with Ike, and we got to get it out of there. I hate hurricanes.

Had a great time, thanks for putting this together, and thanks to Howard for hosting, and Roger for the prizes!

What a fantastic day. My son Daniel and I haven't had a day like that with "just the guys" for a long time and he kept talking all the way home about what a great time he had (even playing his DS most of the time). I think his highlight was Mike's pool. So in the great hp race I managed an effective tie for first place! Dick and I split the trophy for lowest powered car! Oh yeah! I'll post another thread about it but I was surprised at my result, 180hp. That's a 23% loss from the rated 234hp, far more than I expected. I was really hoping to see a 200hp number, or at least something in the 190s. Oh well, it's a good starting point.
BTW most suprising car was probably Gary's S4. Stock and just beautifully clean with only an RMB, he posted a solid 300hp! That car was stout. Thanks again to Mike for putting it together and to the 928OC and the Peachstate PCA for providing the goodies, and definitely to Howard and the dyno shop for being such great hosts. Loved it!

That was fun! All of the words of thanks are really appreciated but it's the people that came to the event that made it great. Thank you. I'm sure Howard feels the same way. He really went above and beyond to make this event a success.
Just before we left the shop yesterday, Jack McKinney, Wally and I had convinced Howard to go to SITM next year. Who knows, maybe we can get him to the 928 OCIC as well. He's a tremendous resource for 928 owners and a great guy too.
Here's some of our pics.
