I'm on the other end buddy, we can have the sports cars, but he ammo she refrains from. I've got a line on some good pre/going to be post/ban stuff, but can't keep it in the house.

I'm just going to shoot toasters, what's the harm?

Find some one with a full auto, get her to shoot it.

I have never seen any one shoot a full auto anything that had a frown on their face. (as long as folks were not shooting back)

My Helen loves her guns, I had a bunch before we got together, but only a couple of full auto guns, that all changed.

Some times people do not really understand what others like about a hobby until they try it.

Kind of like you know she would love BSG if she gave it a chance.

PS, they do replay BSG right now if you missed any of it.

I have a gun story for you, with a automotive background.

Several years ago a guy that I had never seen before come into the shop saying he had a Alfa that his wife had when they got married that he wanted to get running.
Long story, but it was a rust bucket and needed a lot of work, he wanted to just get it running and go from there.

He saw my 1911 under my shirt (very few notice that) and it turns out he was a ex big wheel at Colt, he says rebuild my carbs and make it run and I will send you one of the new guns we are making for the teams.

I knew I was not going to have much in parts, so I say "Sure"

I fixed the car, but he never knew that, he had serial number 12, of this gun shipped to my ffl and never called me or came got the car, his number was no good, and my contacts at Colt had never heard of this guy. (me thinks black opps, but I dont know or more importantly WHY)

It was one of those weird "Green label" guns with the milling done so it could not accept a auto sear, to my knowledge it is the only one like it out there.

All I know for sure is it was shipped to my FFL from Colt, free and clear.

Here is my buddy John with it, and it is a tack driver.

Strange deal, I kept the car for years and never heard a word from this guy again.

That is not a Collaspeable stock, it is adjustable to make it fit the shooter.

As we say in the shotgun world, you cant hit if the gun dont fit.

The tape on the magazines are for some short M16's I have, it just happened those were the ones we put in for the pics.

The Gun came with 10 round Clinton magazines.

The Scope is a SA that has a custom reticule for the bullet weight and velocity I shoot in that gun, for the range finder built in.

It does have some issues, it is very, very, heavy.
My guess is that is why there were not many of them used as designed.

The guy in the picture, John is the kid that bought my 70 SS 454 Chevelle, I have known him since he was 16.

We meet shooting ATA trap, he is the best natural born shooter I have ever meet.

I do not impress easy, but this kid did impress me, and it still took 11 years before I would sell him the old chevy.

ED, that looks slightly bigger than a GT3.
How does this one compare to the one you had before?

You should post this story over on the Guns forum. They may be able to help with identifying that rifle.

This is a fair amount smaller, AND a lot less money. Now, we have one day covered when you and Joann come out.

Yep, me too, I've been paying due for 9 years now since we moved to Texas in 2000, with nothing to show.

Randy-this will be kept at SD Yacht Club. I've been a member there since the mid-90's. The trouble is getting a slip there, but this worked out as a great manipulation of the system, so it was a coup IMO. Isn't yours power? What is it specifically?
