p.s. Big thanks to Earl Gillstrom for doing the a/c refresh on my S4 (new compressor, expansion valves, receiver/dryer and O rings) and letting me help. The a/c was ice cold all the way home to Boston in 100 degree heat.
Earl is a great guy and asset to the 928 community.

Thumbs up

Gas : $400, Red Bull & Coffee : $40, Speeding Tickets : $214, driving my 928 two thousand+ miles in 4 days, including Skyline Drive, The Blue Ridge Parkway, countless twisties in the Smokey Mountains with a great group of guys & gals and getting to hang out with a fantastic bunch of folks at Sharks in the Mountains : Priceless

Tara and I had a GREAT trip, we really enjoyed the comradery, getting to know some cool new people and of course the fantastic driving experience.

A big thanks to DR, Jeanie, Pam and the rest of the 928 Specialists crew for hosting such a great event. And thanks to Carl for organizing the Boston crew assuming the role of fearless leader. We really had a blast, can't wait to do it again!

A hard-earned rest stop along Skyline Drive

Mike actually called me on radio while on the way home to tell me he was going to follow a little further back. I'm guessing that the flames shooting out the Flowmaster RMB spooked him a little bit. LOL
Maybe you should try the flame trick next year Roger!

Flakenberg's practice took a turn for the worse during the off season... now he's "Jack of All Trades" and looks the part too with his work truck!
