Correct - although everything was installed by Friday night. We didn't have time to do any tuning before Saturday. Ernest posted a picture on this thread (here )
That's the result of the new Invisible Powder Coating process Jeannie and I have developed. Note that it works on the rubber radiator hoses too.
I have no idea. We didn't make it to the dyno for tuning; I tripped over a fuel rail and couldn't get up. At the moment I've pulled a lot of timing from the EZK map and the LH map is the result of one day of road tuning with D.R. However, I can tell you that it feels on par with the C6 Z06s that I drove on-track last October. Since the '28 is ~400 pounds heavier than the C6Z I think it is safe to assume that Green Bean is putting out >500 bhp (crank horse power.) Things in the rear view mirror get very small very, very quickly. (Unless they have a crown vic light pattern and seem to be pacing me...)

that's the best looking SC kit I've seen. Most make the engine bay look like clutter; yours looks like it was an original manufacturer design!

Your new electric fan shroud is a work of art too, with the rubber flaps.
Any hope of having 2 events in one season in the future? Frenzy is great, but it is not "in the mountains"...

FITM.
Fall in the Mountains.
A scenic drive through the North Carolinian mountains before having to stash the sharks away for quiet slumber in the colder months.
Too bad leaf peeping in the NC/TN mountains would put it near first snow in the NE.

Super Charger Test Rig.
Sorry about the lack of belt or supercharger on the engine.
Not sure if this has the auto-tensioner as well.

Well now, that should draw a crowd at the 'ol transpo museum get-together this summer! Now, how do we bait that PCA zipperhead that's always calling the 928 crowd- which has come to have the highest representation of any model at the porsche gathering - german corvettes?

Definition of Drooling
Drooling (also known as ptyalism or sialorrhea) is when saliva flows outside the mouth. Drooling is generally caused by excess production of saliva, inability to retain saliva within the mouth, or problems with swallowing.
Some people with drooling problems are at increased risk of inhaling saliva, food, or fluids into the lungs. However, this is unlikely to cause harm, unless the body's normal reflex mechanisms (such as gagging and coughing) are also impaired.
Oddly, my wife did not drool as I did when I showed her this picture, she just became strangely quite and her eyes glazed over, and she begin to mumble, "So help me God if you blah blah blah blah", but then the hearing relay in my brain blew out and missed most of what she said,..... oh well, when do I order?

Someday I'll have one of these superchargers.
Not right now, but someday.
DR, how did your team get started in this semi-obscure but totally cool biz?
Got to see surgeons at work. Sterling re-maffing the blue car; the legendary Earl reading gauges and connecting hoses in the dark on some other mission. Jim M. and Roger framing-up engine bays and running through mental checklists on all that was right and wrong. Pretty cool. A lot of engineering expertise laser-focused on things that really interest them --- impressive what can be accomplished.
And, thanks again for the hospitality. It seemed like there were at least 110 cars, anybody get a final count?
My red 84 sans interior may have looked rough, but it was fantastic-strong, handled great, and I got my first chance to drive it comparitively, chasing the S4's up the hill to the DR compound. I love 928s. So does my son, who drove the newer red car, which was essentially brand new to us --- had just had its 2002 inspection sticker replaced on Friday morning. Hard to pry him out of the drivers seat. What a great time. Thanks.

SITM BEST DRESSED SHARKS
Mark White's shark interior and shark outfit at dinner was a #1 for best shark dressed models of the '08 SITM. Chuck U from Maryland's shirt said it all as to where Ferrari stand with the competition .
