Thumbs up Mosfet fitted..For 200 mph runs..

Hi All

Did some more wiring today for my 200 mph plus runs............

The Larger BLACK BOX on the ally plate at the front is the
Mosfet..this allows me to run all 8 Pulsoids at around 15 amps EACH ,
through it as it can run 200 amps constant and 300 for shorter periods...

The smaller box at back of the plate is a heavy duty Terminal
connector...the Battery cable that leaves it is connected to a battery
isolator switch inside on my control plate which in turn goes direct
to the battery in rear.

All the best Brett

That is some crazy shi_. Hope it all works for you and you get back here safe to type up and update. Have you made any changes to add downforce to the car and prevent lift? I know when we used to run top speed challenges at the magazine a lot of the cars would lift at the front and the steering would become light and scary.

Hi Mark

Sometime later this year I hope...

Some more wiring and electrical work to do and then possibly replacing my middle exhaust boxes with straight through pipes to make it even louder lol...around 130 DB as a guess

Then its a matter of finding somewhere that will allow me to run, and thats not easy in the UK....OR I could get the fastest speeding ticket ever lol...by doing it on a Motorway

All the best Brett

WTF is all that??? Is that car Turboed or something??? I can't freaking tell. Obviously you are trying to pump more fuel into it... If you can do 200 you will be part of a VERY ELITE 928 club...

Look forward to more pics and stories!

All the engine in the world won't get you there if you don't have the traction and a proper lsd. I think it was shown clearly in your last attempt.

Hi

The last test was at a drag track.....that was just to test a few things...

On the actual runs, I will have a rolling start...from about 80 to 90 mph....then I hit the Nitrous (1000 hp) and hold on for a while...then I hit the chute and stop (hopefully lol)

All the best Brett

Man, forgive me for saying this, but that nitrous business bothers the hell out of me. I mean the nitrous is like steroids for an engine, but for the same reasons. Building fake muscle. Get a turbo or stroke it or SC it , then ya got something bro.

Default custom setup...

I wonder if you could get that baby to pass smog in California...?

Man, 200 mph sounds fun, on a track of course. I've gone about 100, it was plenty for me...
