Dan H.
More interior pics soon, very soon. I have been upgrading the interior piece by piece as you can see from this thread. My latest upgrade involves complete sound deadening and German Velour carpet from Classic 9. I am also doing the LED treatment, keyless entry, and upgrading the stereo. Stay tuned...

Mike - PICS PLEASE! I am preparing to do the exact same things as you and would love to benefit from all of your hard work. Especially pics of the sound deadening and German Velour install and your opinion of that carpet.

Thanks so much,
Dan

Just found some old pics of my custom exhaust system that I forgot to post on here.

I pretty much followed Louie Ott's research on his webpage with diameters, mandrel bends, and mufflers. The problem was that the Bullitt mufflers are NLA. I instead went with a set of Dynomax that some of the Rennlisters had used long ago detailed in the archives.

Well, here is another update. Finally got it back on the road...

This post shows the entire interior removed, all leather conditioned and re-dyed so that all the new/old pieces match.

There is also a pic of the rear seat bucket showing all the old nasty original sound deadener pulled up and removed.

There are a lot more pics coming...

This post shows all of the sound deadening material that was put down on the floor. I went with material from raamaudio.com. I got a good deal on this material and was much cheaper than dynamat.

This post is showing the sound deadener I put down on the doors. The first pic shows that I put deadener on the outside part of the door through the door cutouts. The rest show the interior of the doors covered.

Raamaudio also recommended putting down a layer of their ensolite foam for even further sound deadening. They have a peel and stick and it works pretty good. I covered all of the silver deadener with this foam.

The amount of time and patience that is needed for that project astounds me. For guys like me who just do a piece at a time, wow. Very impressive.
