Antique shotgun shells, shotshell boxes (2-piece only), pre-1900 metallic ammo (Sharps, Ballards, Bullards, etc.) and a bit older...arrowheads. I like to buy large collections.

Thanks Dean...it ain't bad, but as an Eagle Scout there is just something about the name "Super Scoutmaster" that I just like!

Have you checked out my A'gon "All Out Assault" listing:

I enjoy my A/V hobby nearly as much as I enjoy my Porsche passion! If you see "Lenny Zwick"'s Wilson set up, he is a fellow Hill Country Porschephile! He likes the new 911 cabs...gets a new one whenever they come out. Super guy! Really likes his audio too!

Really enjoying this thread guys!

These days, watches and Hot Wheels, and a few other things with family history. I've got quite a few different watches, love the mechanical aspect of them. My favorites are a 1950's Wakmann triple-triple (same movement as a Breitling Navtimer) and a South Bend RR pocket watch from 1914 with an enameled dial (it's the one on the bottom). Daily wearer is a Seiko Orange Monster. On the Hot Wheels I limit myself to "real" cars so I never buy any of the crazy ones, and usually just one of each. I've got a couple different 928s in there and one whole shelf is dedicated to Porsche. Used to be a pro bowler for a few years, talk about a great way to not make any money!

I posted my Porsche diecast collection earlier.

In the past it's been comic books (always loved Spawn), expensive fountain pens (Montegrappa, Omas, etc), high quality fake watches (not $20 Rolexes, but $500 Panerais), firearms (I'm a CZ guy), 1/24 and 1/32 slot cars, and fortune telling with mah jongg tiles (scary accurate).

I bought a nice drum set last year, but have been working so much that I've only been able to take a handful of lessons. I try to spend my limited free time relaxing, preferably with a fine cigar (anything from a smooth Avo to a spicy Tatuaje)

When I got married I made a consciencous decision to choose only one hobby. One that I can devote enough time and money to family and the hobby. Cars are it and my goal is to have two P-Cars and a nice garage to put them in. I'm 1/2 way there now. I have the garage but I want to epoxy the floor and I have a really nice 928 GT and need to add a nice 993 C2S.

My son may get me into other hobbies (R/C Cars) but for now this is it!

Some cool stuff you guys collect. Especially like the aquariums, legos and the choppers. Funny it's all the stuff I enjoyed as a kid too!

During the winter I train and race a team of sled dogs. Currently I have 30 dogs hanging out enjoying the summer in the "back yard". Come late August when the nights start to get cold I will be out training full time. The 928 season ends right about the time dog training starts...both will empty your wallet.

As creative therapy, I've been involved in photography for years. My system of choice - a Porsche designed CONTAX system. I've kept all of my cameras as I've continually upgraded the system. As you can see, much like the cars the camera designs have evolved over time while maintaining their "design DNA". Unfortunately with the advent of digital imaging, the parent company dropped the CONTAX brand. I hope to pick up a used digital CONTAX (last one built) some day.

4 Generations of CONTAX:

Ha! The bear was staring at 20 of us clicking away. I brought a friend who was 10 years older than me. 'Told him that I had to have at least 1 person with me that I was sure I could out run.

Nothing against hunters, but you're no less of a man to snap off a picture of a big *** bear, than you are to shoot him. Knowing that he's seen you, and you haven't slowed him down in any way if he wants to get a little closer, takes some kahunas, IMO.
Great picture!

Thanks JP. Some of my best friends are hunters. We often compare notes on the our hunting experiences - stalking techniques, reading wildlife body language, etc. Main difference is that instead of pulling a trigger I click a shutter.

Thanks...sounds GREAT but the room is really the limiting factor. If I had a good room for it all it would sound TONS better than it does now!

Any time you are in the Austin area just let me know!

James I can fix your room with some absorbtion/diffusion panels and traps!

Warning the above leads to divorce!
Very low WAF (wife acceptance factor)

Add me to the list of incurable audiophiles especially vintage McIntosh.

No I will not sell the amps for a GTS I need an automatic!

Joe
