If you have to turn that tight on a race track you are probably already spinning

I forgot to mention it to the tech that did my alignment and he needed to make a tight turn to get on the alignment rack. Did a nice scratch on the inner lip of the rim.
I was a bit worried that if it is that close it may somehow make contact while driving in a turn, since I don't know how much everything flexes under load on the track.

Kirkeys often come up barely used much less expensive than that. They are often a great deal.

I will have broken my car, fixed it and upgraded it by the time you get that car back on the track. Come on Tom! Sign up for Hyperfest at Summit Point and that should be your motivation.

Maybe with 2mm spacers it won't? Someone here on the list says 265/35-18's fit fine without modifications in the front on ET68 wheels.

You can put extra stops on the rack to limit the travel if needed but as I said on the tracks you never turn that sharp unless you are into drifting

stops are a good idea. mine on a power slide, hit the swaybar and acted like a lathe on my nice Kinesis wheels! any lower, it would hit the tire, and any higher and .......... maybe i just need to put the swaybar up a bit.

rack stops are a cheap and easy way to limit the max steering angle......

I cracked/machined a Kinesis wheel half at a drifting day by repeatedly letting go the steering wheel and having it self-correct to full lock. I learned that 1) double rack stops are a worthy upgrade, 2) that 3-pc wheels aren't really all that much more economical than 1pc wheels and that 3) I suck at drifting.
