275s fit with some simple rolling with 10" or 9.5" rims, and are not that tight on the inside. however, they are at the limit at the inside, and an 11" rim up front would have to stick out about 1", and thats where there needs to be rolling. i dont think a 295 would be much different.

I have 9x16 70mm ET with 265's and they barely clear in and out...

well, there is 2-3k to do it right and get one in there. suddenly, that $15k car turns into $18k. However, now you get a car with a lot of good stuff, so its still a good deal. Much faster and more dependable than anything else around in that price range.

I wonder what it weighs?

Keep in mind $15k is the asking price......negotiation is key!!!

I wonder what type if any engine mods it has......with only the exhaust on a well running 928 would be over 300whp..... add cams and tuning you could get past 335whp easy.....with a stock 5.0L bottom end.....

You can STILLl spend 24 hours a day working on "purchased" track car.
Thats Mark R. and that car is not a true track car IMO. Its just a gutted street car.

There are cars with 305s in front without flares. It's much easier with shorter later arms and 80+mm offset.

They don't even know what motor is in it... they claim 345chp out of the stock 89 motor. When I asked if it was a GTS motor I got a pissy reply. I don't have the reply anymore but they told me a lot more than 2700lbs. I think it was 3000lb. I would stay far away from that car.

Interesting, he told me 2705 and a stock 89 motor...with no work....so it has to be a 316hp motor..... He told you 345hp.....it doesn't say anything about a GTS motor..... But he did say all the work was done by his shop....which I don't know anything about.....good or bad.....does anyone?

Well Guys, not to be rude but I started this thread for those who would be interested in the build of my car and it's progress. It seems to have gotten off track! pardon the pun.

My teardown continues (big job) My Kirkey racing seat arrived vis DHL yesterday. Extremely light at about 8lbs. I think the box was heavier than the seat. My carbon spoiler and safety harness arrived also. When the interior is gutted. It will go out to get the main hoop done and the rest will be done in house.
