Gotcha - I just saw that he had listed a top speed of 85 mph, which now that I think about it seems really low for third anyway. I just remember 2 to 4 is basically what the Tesla's used (they called it Lo and Hi though).

Yea, but the Lotus/Tesla box probably has a MUCH shorter 4th...I am guessing they were comparing it to a 4th gear in the Elise...that would probably be about like our 3rd.

I kept 2-3 gears. Around town I use 2 up to 50mph then shift t to third and that is good to 85mph.

Jeff, how is the electric 928 doing? With the new Leaf and Volt coming out, I suspect there will be more interest in your car than ever before!

Justr driving it everyday. Ive been working on the 427 Cobra EV,its starting to come together. I hope to have it on the road by summer.

Hey Jeff great job!! This is a cool hobby I would like to see the updates on the Cobra.
If for some reason your ever out of work thier are a lot of automotive suppliers in Detriot that you work for.
