The most common source of electrical problems on a 928 is:
Incompetently installed after-market electrical gizmos (e.g. radios, phones, radar detectors,etc.)

Where was 928 International based prior to ownership by Mark A in California?

(feel free to correct me Mark, Jim)..as I'm going off memory from a conversation long ago....

it was located in Florida when Mark A bought it and moved the operations to Cali

What is the widest normal production front wheel fitted on a 928 as delivered by the factory?
The 8" CS rim for the CS/SE and '89GT.

Besides the chrome headlight rings, what is the only chrome on the 928?

The chrome door lock ring on the 1978

I am afraid that you are missing a section or two.

Alot of shocks have the main shaft chromed. as well as the main shaft in the power steering rack is chromed as well

Didn't some of the OB's come with chrome rear quarter window trim?

wasn't it that the black anodization came off and since they were metal unlike the plastic ones on later cars they looked chrome?

mine is brushed aluminum. And it looks out of place

doesn't look it. I bought mine in '89. Who knows what he PO did to it. But I would be surprised if it weathered all the black off.
