When did Porsche add the exhaust temp sensors to the 928?
In 1989
What exhaust ports did they monitor?
4 and 8
When and why did they switch to different ports?
They switched to ports 3 and 7 in 1990 due to temperature variations of 4 and 8 falsely activating the system (3 and 7 were thought to fluctuate less in temp).
