I also bought hydraulic rated hose to replace the return hose. It took 7.25" and I purchased 1/2" inside diameter hose which was very close to the original hose size. I attached this 7.25" length of hose to the return tube first and clamped it down with the new clamp.

Dwayne, so this hose that you replaced, did you cut out the old one and just substitute it with a hydraulic hose. The original one on there is usually crimped in some way correct? You just inserted one and put on a clamp? That would be easyyyy if this is the case!!!!!! Any input would be great from anyone that has done this

Yes, in order to get the old hose off, the original hose crimp needed to be cut off. I used a Dremel tool with metal cutting bit and carefully cut the crimp from the hose then removed the old hose. Once the old hose is removed, you can install the new one with no problems - after you clean the area, of course.

That is fairly easy to do then, have you had any leaks so far using it like that?

So I'm going to be replacing my power steering return line that connects to the reservoir, at this time it is leaking. I saw Dwaynes write up but thats for a 88, I have this hose that I'm not sure where to find since I only want to replace the hose.

This my hose as you can see it is definitely molded.

This is is the pic of my reservoir with that hose. Where would I be able to find one like that and with the different diameters on both ends.

Hello Hollisterkiid92,
I am not aware of that hose, by itself, being sold separately. I believe it is only available as part of the whole return line assembly which includes the hard line. The entire assembly is available from our 928 vendors.
