I left it like this perminantely. as was mentioned, when racing, Im never at below 3700rpm, and flappy only helps 3200rpm to 3700rpm.

I was tired of traking down the electrical issue of why flappy was intermittant. finally, i just hard vacuum "wired" the flappy actuator. when i do the engine replacement, ill just pull out the guts.

And the funny thing is that he did it this way for 10+ years now and no one have any problems!!!
It would be interesting to compare his adjustment with Kempf tool. So far I haven't managed to find anyone who could get it in the window with any kind of repeatability. Usually all hand users put it way too tight.

That way your engine will be lighter too!

He was so sure for the adjustment that he told me that I can use the tool after he made the adjustment by hand and if it is perfect I buy the drings, if is not he will pay, in any case the work it will be for free, now I dont know if I can use the same gaskets on the intake after 300km or so

Update.
I order a new vacuum actuator and the timing belt tension tool from www.928sRus.com on Friday and I received on Monday, US to Greece, great servise Roger, thanks for all
We put the new M.M.s (from Roger again and only 3 days delivery also)
We put the new vacuum actuator
We check the belt with out the covers and it was perfect in any way, marks and all, looks like my mechanic was right and have a very good hand!
The car now is like new, the ride is much better with the new MM, no vibes no nothing and the power on high RPMs is like 50HP more or something!
Thank you all for your great help.
Regards

The most amazing thing is that I place the order on Friday, he send me the invoice on Sunday night (Greek time) and I receive the parts a few hours later... he package and ship the parts minutes after I place the order...and before I pay for them, is that great or what?!
PS Roger where is my M&Mssssss ??????

Fast at shipping and slow at invoicing - what more could a customer want 8>)
Glad it worked out well.
