CPK is great. Downside is that they seldom have seating setups for larger groups. Love the barbeque chicken chopped salad with a barbeque chicken pizza.

Agreed, good food there but you are right about seating arrangements. I'm afraid Islands falls into the same situation as well.

El Cholo is pretty close by and they have a seperate room I am sure they would set aside for us. They have a full bar also. BJ's could probably accomodate also though wouldn't likley be a seperate room.

Time to dust this one off (pg. 11, yikes! )

Post here or PM me if you still intend to go. I would like to call K1 Friday morning and let them know how many will be in our group. March 1st is the date. While your at it if you haven't given your choice of restaurant in the poll, please go ahead and do so.

We have been talking about Noon-1'ish and will ask K1 if that time is available. A lot of people have been saying they intend to visit the car show in Irvine prior to...

Bill, I'm still good to go, and we have three from the PCARS group who have said they will join us. I mentioned the event at a PCA gathering on Saturday, and will post details to the local SGV events guy to get the word out to the SGV region group. I'll have them post back here directly.

There's a PCARS group that plans on leaving Alhambra (just a little north of Los Angeles) at about 6:15 AM for a 7am arrival at the Cars & Coffee show in Irvine. They drive faster than I do, so I'll likely touch down very briefly and check in with them around 6AM, then cruise down with a 7AM target arrive. More than half the time a herd of them will blow by me on the freeway at 100+ just before I get there, so it works out well. There will be at least 3 928's at that show (Larry, Rolf, me), probably Ron Perry and Rob Edwards, and more are always merrier.

If you are a car enthusiast, the C&C event is a lot of fun. Lots of cars old and new, some rare and some not, but always fun to visit and learn. The event is hosted by Mazda/Ford at their design center. There is good coffee and light breakfast food available, so you won't starve. Bring your camera. Weather is predicted to be barely cool in the morning, warming to maybe 80 by mid afternoon. Should be a perfect day to visit a while between this show and the karting.

May I assume that most, if not all of you that responded in the affirmative previously still intend to show up? If so, at least respond to the bench racing venue (poll) if you please!
