Talking Let's go Karting Socal 928'ers
I've been toying with the idea of doing this again as the first one was quite a success and a good time was had by all. I went karting at Miramar last night and have the bug!

This time I would like to meet up at the K1 Speed in Irvine. That place is HUGE and should be able to accomodate a large group of reckless 928'ers . Irvine is centrally located and since we had such a nice turnout from OC and L.A. last time, it seems only fair and has the potential to draw more of us there.

I think February or March would give us sufficient time to organize this and clear everyone's calendars, so let me know what date works for you. Once we have some committments I will explain the different race packages they have and we can decide how to proceed.

Next time you go to Miramar, call me or email - since I have a membership there. You will win from weight advantage, but it will still be fun.

Yeah, I've been there a few times & really should go the membership route. I like the electric karts at K1 better though as they have more torque. I'll be sure to let you know when I go next. We usually meet up with Chris Boyer (KGB-FM) on Tuesdays and have some pretty spirited events!

If I remember, that cart I jumped into had horrible steering on it. The qualifying car felt so much better.


I can't wait to see the look on Mr. Donaldson's face when he sees me zoom by him again
