Need Fuse Panel Diagram Help
Guys (and Gals),
The dashboard on my 1987 S4 went black last night. I think that the fuse has died. I pulled the floorboard only to discover that the diagram that shows what each fuse is for is gone.
Can someone please tell me which fuse lights the dashboard? I am trying to avoid pulling everyone until I get it right.
Thanks.

Fuse 10. Also protects indicators so if these are not operating then that would confirm fuse blown.
There are copies of the fuse/relay diagrams on the 928 Specialists site - I laminated one and keep it in the car in case I ever misplace the original one or leave it behind the one time I need it!

you can get a fuse/relay chart from www.928gt.com.
It might be a good time to check your fuses for corrosion/correct rating/position.
If you find any corrosion then look above the CE panel for telltale water drips, if you find any then you may need to reseal the bottom of the blower box, if your fuses are corroded then you should also pull every relay and see if any have corrosion/and the correct part number, if you find any corroded relays then they should be opend up to check the innards.
WARNING do elex work with the battery disconnected

Thanks for the replies and the leads on where I can find the diagrams.
Sounds like I may have a little bigger problem...my indicators are working, but the entire dashboard, including the thermostat controls and everything else on the center console has stopped working...Hopefully that is fuse realated as well...they all stopped working at the same time.
Thanks again.

Buy a test light - any good parts store. You want the one that looks like an old-fashioned ice-pick with a clear plastic handle that contains a light bulb. There will be a wire attached, with an alligator clip on the end of the wire.
Attach the clip to the ground connections (bunch of brown wires) above the Central Electric Panel.
Touch the tip of the tester to each of the two little metal dots on the face of the fuse. You should either have power on both dots (fuse is good) or have no power on either dot (circuit isn't powered - try again with the ignition switch on, or light switch on, or...).
If you have power on one dot but not the other, the fuse is blown.
With the tester, it will take about two minutes to check every fuse in the box.

It was aircooler's great contribution. I downloaded my diagram and need to attach stickers this week but I found it again here:
