Both the rock and the insurance company got away easy...

Well, the rock didn't get off quite so easy; unlike the insurance company it was chipped down to a more humble size.

Well, I got home from travel this last week looking forward to posting a few pics when my computer died. Got another one up and running now but don't have the same photo software so not sure how well the pics will post.
Hmmm, for some reason the pics are much smaller than with my other software......
Here's the red GT surrounded by 3 OB's -- the only red 928 there and really nice shape too!
Sharks posing by the flowers...
I believe this is Charlie's OB in front of mine
Sharks cruisin' through town on the Saturday Really Fun Drive
A few of us looking back at a stop light to snap pics on the Saturday Really Fun Drive
Our first stop -- had a minor issue with Tim's lead car
Our second stop on the fun drive
Mr. Merlin's pearl S4 - really nice!
Our third stop on the fun drive
Can you find the one person in this picture NOT wearing a hat??
Back at the hotel....never seen a 928 in this color before....Cool!
Next day, the Sunday Fun Drive around lake Tahoe - stacked up the sharks in 3 columns
Our tremendous host and leader, Tim!

Here's some more pics...
On the Sunday Drive, we drove around Lake Tahoe. I had the windows down and could actually catch a few snipets of conversations of people that stopped what they were doing and just stood and watched the parade of sharks cruising on through. Heard one guy say to the gal next to him, "Those are PORSCHES!"
We stopped at Crystal Bay...here's a few pics of shark owners enjoying the drive and the scenery...
After the BBQ at Tim and Cheryl's, Three of us decided to caravan back down 395 but we got seperated at Carson City when I stopped for gas. Here's a pic just as we were leaving the hotel.
This was a fantastic event and had the best time!! THANKS again Tim and Cheryl!!
(Now to try and figure out how to make my pictures bigger!)

SATL
To Tim and Cheryl:
A hearty"Thank You" for all the hard work and enterprising, resourceful planning you two did to pull this year's SATL event. Leah and I were very pleased and had a fantastic time meeting the folks that attended and just plain enjoying ourselves at the Cal-Neva. After leaving you folks at your house on Sunday (again thank you for your wonderful hospitality), we "flew on" to San Francisco, spent awhile at Fisherman's Wharf, had dinner and drove on South headed for Vegas. Dinner, swimming pools, and a Cirque de Soleil production had us worn out before setting out for home at Colorado Springs. A wonderful time was had by all - to all you others that did not show - well, you missed it!

Tim N Cheryl thanks so much for opening up your hearts to put this event together.
I had a great time as did my special guest Mary, she cant wait for me to get the white Euro running so she can drive it, with your help of course the fuel tank will come in handy as the old one was seconds away from a max explosion............. Thanks again and i am still thinking about Tahoe. Stan
